He also has an interest in spondylolisthesis and radiculopathy of the lumbar spine. He uses minimally invasive approaches where appropriate. Dr. Stewart continues to use novel 3D computer modeling of the spine as an educational tool for patients, doctors, and nursing staff. He has reprogrammed a first-person shooter video game engine to demonstrate interactive spinal anatomy and surgical technique to patients.
